BEHIND THE LENS

Where the photography began: After many years of hairdressing with an international educationally based company, Raymond decided to pursue his long time interest of photography. He began with the focus mainly being on hairstyles with his hairdressing background. Though it quickly expanded to focus more on the fashion as he discovered a keen interest in wardrobe and fashion design. After being stood up by a make-up artist, he quickly discovered that it would be very helpful to learn to do make-up as well. Raymond's work as a graphic artist has also helped to refine his Photoshop skills to complete the image. Taking it to the skies: Raymond is also a very experienced skydiver with a few thousand jumps. Upon getting into photography, Raymond decided to take the camera along on his jumps. This came with quick success as the first picture he submitted landed on the cover of Parachutist Magazine. Though he hasn't been as current in the sport in recent years, he does take the camera along on most jumps. Raymond recently left working in the salon to actively pursue his photography career. Though he maintains his passion for hairdressing and is still available for hairdressing services, he's also now available for photography services.CONTACT
